Safe and Secure

Using your digital wallet is more secure than using traditional credit cards. Digital wallet uses high-level encryption and tokenization to prevent fraudsters from accessing your information.

Digital wallets can only be used with a form of user verification on your mobile device via a pin, facial/iris recognition, or fingerprint reader. 
 
If your smartphone or mobile device goes missing, your card information will still be secure.

Setting up Digital Wallet

Adding your CNB Card to your digital wallet is easy and secure.
Below are instructions for Apple, Android, and Samsung Devices. 
 
Apple Pay™ Google Pay™ Samsung Pay™
  1. Open the Settings app and select the “Wallet & Apple Pay™” (You can also tap the “Wallet” app and on the top right corner, tap the “plus” icon.).
  2. Tap “Add Card.”
  3. Select “Credit or Debit Card.”
  4. Follow on-screen instructions.
  5. Verify your card for Apple Pay™ by typing in the verification code sent via text or phone. You can also call your bank for approval.
  6. The card will then show up on your “Wallet” app and will be all set.
  1. Download the Google Pay™ App from the Google Play store. (Google Pay comes preinstalled on Android Devices)
  2. Open Google Pay™ App and connect with your Google Gmail Account.
  3. Tap Payment at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap + Payment Method
  5. Choose type of Payment method. 
  6. Follow on-screen instructions
  7. Tap Agree to card's terms and conditions.
  1. Open up Samsung Pay™ (Samsung Pay™ comes preinstalled on Samsung devices or can be found on the Google Play Store)
  2. Tap Get Started (first time users) and enter a new pin for Samsung Pay™. 
  3. Tap Menu on top left corner and tap Cards
  4. Tap Add Card and tap Credit/Debit Card
  5. Follow on-screen instructions.
  6. Tap Agree to card's terms and conditions.

Anytime, Anywhere. Just look for the symbol.

You can use digital wallet almost anywhere and anytime. 
When you are using your digital wallet for in-store purchases, just look for the contactless payment symbol on the card reader. Most stores and businesses have contactless payment, but it's recommended to have an extra card or cash just in case.
