Every month, CNB Bank takes a moment to recognize a team member who goes above and beyond, not just in their work, but in the way they show up for their colleagues and their community. This month, that recognition belongs to Mary-Jane Bowyer, Marketing Coordinator.
Always Working, Rarely in the Spotlight
If you've ever attended a CNB Bank event, there's a good chance Mary-Jane had a hand in making it happen. From coordinating venues and preparing materials to setting up the space and welcoming guests with a warm smile, she handles every detail with care and consistency.
"I have had the opportunity to work with MJ on multiple events, and she is truly exceptional in everything she does," said a colleague. "MJ never seeks recognition. She simply shows up and gets everything done with professionalism and grace."
That kind of steady, dependable presence is something the whole team notices and appreciates.
A Commitment to Growing Her Craft
Mary-Jane brings a strong foundation to everything she does. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Radford University and a Master of Arts from Liberty University, and has continued building on that foundation through banking-specific education, including the West Virginia Bankers Association Consumer Lending School and the WVBA School of Banking.
Her commitment to growth has also earned her well-deserved recognition beyond CNB Bank. Most recently, she earned the Independent Community Bankers of America's Certified Community Bank Marketing Strategist (CCBMS) designation, a meaningful achievement that reflects her expertise and dedication to her field.
Giving Back Close to Home
Mary-Jane's investment in the community runs deep. She is a graduate of Leadership Washington County and currently serves on its Board of Directors. She also serves as a Board Member for Augustoberfest and the Humane Society of Washington County, and sits on the Revenue Committee for United Way of Washington County.
