Some people clock in, do their job, and clock out. And then there are people like Jordan Glessner, who bring a genuine passion for community banking into everything they do, including their time away from the office. CNB Bank is proud to recognize Jordan as our August Employee of the Month!

Jordan is a Personal Banker at our Pennsylvania Avenue office in Hagerstown, Maryland, and a lifelong Washington County resident.

Rooted in Community

Jordan’s path to community banking was shaped by the people and experiences closest to him. Growing up around his family’s small business, Glessner Technologies, gave him an early appreciation for what it means to run something of your own and the role a trusted financial partner can play in that journey.

His values were further shaped by the Doey’s House hospice project, named in honor of his grandmother. That experience left a lasting impression on him about the importance of service and showing up for the people in your community.

These experiences instilled the values of service, relationship-building, and community involvement that continue to guide him today, and anyone who works alongside Jordan can see exactly that.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication from Frostburg State University, with minors in Marketing and Management, a background that shows up clearly in the thoughtful, proactive way he approaches his work.

Going Above and Beyond

Jordan’s Employee of the Month nomination captures something that is hard to teach: initiative. He has been working diligently to identify prospects in the local market, going so far as to compile a list of businesses that currently write checks to CNB customers, creating real, tangible opportunities for outreach and relationship-building.

But perhaps the most telling moment came outside of work entirely. At a social event, Jordan struck up a conversation with someone who mentioned they were unhappy with their current bank. Without hesitation, he took the opportunity to set up an introduction. No script, no pressure, just genuine confidence in CNB Bank and a desire to help someone find a better fit.

That kind of initiative takes courage, and it reflects exactly the kind of pride in the brand and commitment to community that makes CNB Bank what it is.

Looking Ahead

Jordan’s goal is straightforward: help individuals, families, and businesses in Washington County achieve their financial goals while making a positive impact in the community he has always called home. With the start he has already made, we have no doubt he will do exactly that.

Congratulations, Jordan! We are proud to have you on the CNB Bank team.
